GITEX EUROPE

GITEX Europe is the brand-new European edition of the long-running GITEX tech-mega-show that began in Dubai back in 1981. Its debut runs 21 – 23 May 2025 at Messe Berlin, positioning itself as “Europe’s largest enterprise tech and digital-ecosystem event.” (Gitex Europe)

Why it exists

  • A European hub for a global brand. Dubai World Trade Centre (the owner of GITEX Global) has teamed up with Messe Berlin to transplant the GITEX formula to the EU, complementing sister shows in Dubai, Africa, Asia and Nigeria. (Infinigate, GITEX)

  • Strategic timing. Launching in the heart of the EU just as Europe races to close an AI-investment gap and shape its own digital-sovereignty rules, the event enjoys support from the European Commission and national digital agencies. (Gitex Europe)

Why people attend

  • Deal-making at scale. A curated matchmaking programme sets up 20-minute bilateral meetings; three confirmed meetings even unlock a free day pass. (Matchmaking @GITEX 2025)

  • Policy meets product. European regulators share stages with hyperscalers and unicorn founders, turning often opaque EU tech-policy debates (AI Act, data sovereignty, net-zero mandates) into practical sessions. (Gitex Europe)

  • Show-and-tell for cutting-edge tech. Live demos span quantum computers, autonomous EVs, satellite-to-device connectivity, generative-AI copilots and climate-tech innovations.

GITEX Europe is the continent’s answer to CES or Web Summit, but delivered by the GITEX brand, merging a vast trade-fair floor, a start-up festival, and a policy-heavy conference into one three-day sprint in Berlin.
